I made this Bitsy game over the course of a week back in December 2020. This was during the height of the pandemic and I needed to do something to distract myself so I made a little riverbank to rest by and watch the water slowly run downstream. It's not my best work but it's what I needed to make at the time.

Additional notes:

As a challenge, why not try leaving footprints on every accessible tile of snow in the game? There might be a small secret at the house if you do...

There's also a secret that can only be found by opening the game in the Bitsy editor. The source code is here if you want to look for it!

Character sprites in this game were inspired by erabbit's A Bitsy Sketch of My Patio. It's a cute way to get a lot of character detail out of an 8x8 pixel resolution!

Some of the background tiles were also inspired by Adam Le Doux's forest zone tile pack. Mostly the trees I think.
